Flanders Folk Gathering 2025
For the fourth year in a row, the Flanders Folk Network is bringing the folk sector together for an inspiring sector gathering! On the evening of Tuesday, June 10, 2025, Muziekclub 't Ey (Belsele) will open its doors for an evening full of connection, exchange, and fresh ideas.
Moderator Begijn Le Bleu will engage in conversation with a range of fascinating guests about today’s folk scene. Expect an interactive panel featuring inspiring real-life examples — from internationally recognized educational initiatives to personal musical journeys and the role of dance in contemporary folk.
In addition to the content sessions, there will be plenty of time to catch up and share experiences with musicians, organizers, bookers, and managers from across the scene.

Awards 2025
On Monday, January 27, 2025, we celebrate the 5th edition of the awards ceremony at the legendary Ancienne Belgique. During this festive evening, we will present awards in the categories Best Live Band, Best Album, Horizon, and Lifetime Achievement Award.
In addition, Snaarmaarwaar, BLIET, and Bamako Express will take the stage, bringing the finest folk music from our deeply rooted traditions to this iconic Brussels venue. It promises to be an unforgettable night!
Flanders Folk Gathering 2024
For the third time in a row, we're organizing a sector event for the folk scene with the Flanders Folk Network! On Tuesday evening, June 11, 2024, the doors of Muziekclub 't Ey (Belsele) will open to welcome you with open arms.
Expect an interactive evening creatively hosted by Begijn Le Bleu, bringing together musicians, managers, bookers, and organizers for engaging discussions and interactions.

Flanders is brimming with folk talent and the Flanders Folk Network wants everyone in the national and international folk world to know about it. The Flanders Folk Awards puts Flemish artists in the spotlight for the wider world to enjoy.
On January 27st 2024, we will announce the winners during a live award show in Ancienne Belgique (Brussels). In addition to the presentation of the awards, the Brussels music temple will also host some great bands: the finest folk from our deep-rooted home soil. It promises to be a great evening!
